It’s the most wonderful time of the year! NFL is back, and that means ceasar Sundays with Erin Andrews on the sidelines, nachos, and an excuse to stay in your sweats all day and still feel like you’ve accomplished something. While Canada may be synonymous with ice hockey, I’ve noticed a shift in the local fanbase here in Vancouver.  The NFL has a huge following, with more and more people jumping on the Seahawks bandwagon. If you look around at a bar on a Sunday in Vancouver, you are sure to see people furiously refreshing their fantasy football apps and trying to eat their way out of a hangover.

Read on for the best places to watch NFL in Vancouver with sound!

Brewhall

Just off Main Street on 2nd Avenue, Brewhall is my go-to for football Sunday. The large space has high ceilings, great lighting, and a cute patio out back. There are a ton of old-school games like Pacman and pinball to entertain you during play stoppages (or to keep your children entertained while you watch NFL in peace).

Local

Ahh, Local. A staple in Vancouver. While most flock during the summer months to take advantage of the patio, Local has some serious charm in the winter months.  I prefer to watch at their Kitsilano location, but the Gastown location is is a great option if you are in the area already.

Order the fish tacos and a caesar in a boot!

Good Co. Granville (formerly Colony)

One of the most popular places to watch sports in Vancouver, Good Co. Granville has TV’s everywhere, including a large projector style screen in the back with picnic style tables dotted in front. Good Co. Granville is a great place to watch NFL in Vancouver with a group of friends.

Inbetween plays, play a round of skeeball, throw some baskets, or play a round of bocce with your crew.

The Sports Bar

This sports bar is conveniently located attached to Rogers Arena. Heading to a Canucks game on Sunday night? Head here to watch NFL beforehand and get the best of both worlds for the ultimate sports Sunday. This bar feels like something you’d seen in a big American city next to a football stadium. It’s fairly dark with no windows, so it’s great for a rainy day of sportsing’ .. which reminds me of my favorite meme ever:

Bells + Whistles

Sip some amazing craft beer while enjoying your favourite team (hopefully) crush their opponent. They recently opened a second location, so choose your own adventure depending on where you are. Their inaugural location is on Fraser Street, and their newest addition is located on Dunbar. Cheeseburgers, ice cream, craft beers, and NFL. Sounds like the perfect Sunday to me.

Good Co. Main

So Good it’s listed twice (see what I did there?). Another Good Co. bar is located on Main Street in Vancouver. If you are visiting Vancouver and looking to do a little exploring and a little NFL watching, head here to do both. You can catch an NFL game and then check out the shops and restaurants on Main Street.

Score on Davie

I’ll just leave this here. Enough said.

There you go! Now you know my favorite places to watch NFL in Vancouver. If you’re ever looking for me on a Sunday, I’ll probably be at one of these establishments drinking a caesar, and trying to sneak a peak at my celebrity crush, Pete Carroll.

Pin for later!
