Bali is one of the places I’ve travelled to that I get asked about the most. The picturesque rice fields, infinity pools, delicious organic food and smoothies, friendly locals and good energy make it a nomadic dream. The great thing about Bali is that it is constantly evolving to cater to what travellers are looking for. I have been twice in the last 6 years, and I almost didn’t recognize a few areas the second time around.

While the influx of tourism has changed the landscape a little, Bali still embodies it’s whimsical charm in every way.

The beaches in Bali can be a little dirty, as garbage washes up on shore, but I noticed this really improved since the last time I visited. The private villas and infinity pools set in the jungle are where I spent most of my time relaxing. The energy of the island is so laid back and raw, where significant value is placed on offering healthy organic food to fuel your body. It is an amazing place to escape to if you are feeling restless and out of sync.

I highly recommend a yoga or wellness retreat, as it’s the absolute perfect setting for these getaways! I hope these photos of Bali captured the essence of the island, but if you still have questions, I’d love to hear them!
